A Word From Verity

Beauty has always been part of my world, but my connection to makeup began with the women around me—especially my grandmother, Audrey. I remember watching her get ready each morning, surrounded by her favourite products, with her signature Max Factor lipstick and the unmistakable scent of Elnett hairspray filling the room. It wasn’t just about makeup, it was about the confidence and presence it gave her. That left a lasting impression on me and shaped the way I see beauty today.

Over the last 15 years, that early fascination has grown into a career I genuinely love. I trained professionally in Makeup, Media and Costume, first in Worcester where I completed my HND Foundation Degree, before going on to achieve my BA Honours Degree at Bradford University.

My professional journey has included working with some of the most respected names in luxury beauty, including Benefit Cosmetics and Estée Lauder Companies. During my time there, I progressed into leadership roles managing both teams and business performance, while continuing to refine my artistry. In 2021, I was proud to receive Estée Lauder’s “Best of the Best” award, recognising both my work and dedication within the company.

In 2023, after moving from Windsor to Hereford with my family and welcoming my daughter, I made the decision to focus fully on freelance makeup artistry. It was a big step, but one that felt incredibly natural. Working closely with brides and clients on such meaningful occasions has been the most rewarding part of my career.

I believe experience matters, especially when it comes to choosing products that truly perform. My kit is built on tried-and-tested professional favourites—products I trust completely for flawless, long-lasting results both in person and on camera.

My approach to makeup is simple: I want you to feel like yourself, just elevated.
